need love!!!!!!

In my opinion, if an individual feels that they are not getting enough love from their parents, then the individual should try to get their parents attention in a good manner. Grin Most of us have both parents who are working and may not spend quality time with us as they are busy. By helping out our parents in doing house work or other task, we can actually gain their attention. It may impress them and make them feel happy. Smiley Thus, we can get more love from them. But remember that we should never compare among siblings how much our parents love us. Every parents love their child but they may not express their love.
In certain circumstances, second marriage may affect the family. But it all depends on the family members. Whether we have a stepmother or stepfather, we always have respect for them as our family member and should try to build a good relationship with them. Always remember to practice tolerance in our daily lifestyles to avoid any arguments or quarrels among family members. Cool

Career or Family?

For me, I will never want to choose between family and career. Both are equally important. I would choose career as I know that my mum and my siblings will be there always for me. They would prefer me being successful in my career first. :)Of course once we start working, we have to support or may be take care of our families. So, for me, both career and family should be seen as one thing. “ No money, No live” Cool

Time with the family

Quality time is an informal reference to time spent with loved ones such close family, partners or friends. Quality time is in some way important, special, productive or profitable. It is time that is set aside for paying full and undivided attention to the person at hand. Busy parents use the term to justify the limited amount of overall time they spend with their children.
The opportunity to experience quality time, or the actual time available to enjoy quality time is often said to be limited. However, this is outweighed by the importance, intensity or value attached to events or interactions which occur during quality time.
Quality time therefore has a degree of emotional or social "quality" which other aspects of personal life may lack. So by spending quality time with children will actually help the parents to express their love and the children themselves will feel attached to the family. Therefore there will lesser chance of the children to feel left out and indulge in bad habits or social problems.
Do you know that there is a Quality Time Magazine which is a free parenting magazine for families in Hampshire? It is the must have bi-monthly read for families with pre-school and school age children. Quality Time is about getting kids healthy, active, crafty, cooking, gardening and enjoying family life.

Hypertension and diet

DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. The DASH diet is an eating plan that is low in fat but rich in low-fat dairy foods, fruits, and vegetables. Following the DASH diet may lower blood pressure. The DASH diet may also help you prevent high blood pressure if you have prehypertension. DASH also recommends eating whole grains, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds, and dried beans (legumes) as part of a balanced diet. Lowering sodium intake can reduce. You can cut down on your salt (sodium) intake by using a salt substitute. Eating fewer processed foods, such as snack items, luncheon meats, fast foods and canned soups, will reduce the amount of sodium in your diet and help you lower your blood pressure. A diet high in calcium, potassium, and magnesium may lower your blood pressure. To increase the potassium in your diet, fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of this nutrient. Dairy products are high in calcium and magnesium. DASH recommends that you eat 8 to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables and 3 servings of low-fat dairy products each day. Eating a diet low in both saturated fat and total fat will also help lower your blood pressure. Saturated fat is found in meats, cheeses, butter, poultry, snack foods, and other processed foods. In general, vegetarian diets reduce blood pressure. The DASH diet could easily be a vegetarian diet if legumes were substituted for meat. Vegetarian diets tend to be higher in potassium, magnesium, and calcium, as is the DASH diet. Vegetarian diets also are higher in fiber and unsaturated fat than other diets. Controlling your weight, increasing your physical activity, and reducing sodium in your diet will help reduce your blood pressure even more when combined with the DASH diet.

vegetarian is it good?

A vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat. There are several kinds of vegetarian diets such as lacto-ovo vegetarians, lacto-vegetarians and vegans. Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat milk products-such as milk, cheese, and yogurt-and eggs, but no meat. "Lacto" means "milk." "Ovo" means eggs. Meanwhile lacto-vegetarians eat milk products, but not eggs or meat. Lastly, vegans are total vegetarians. They eat only plant foods. They don't eat food that comes from animals in any way, including milk products, eggs, honey, and gelatin. Many people are semi-vegetarian. They may eat fish or poultry, but no red meat or they may eat meat only once in a while. Reasons of choosing vegetarian diets are a vegetarian diet can be healthier than other diets, some people think it's wrong to use animals for food, some religions forbid eating meat or certain animals, a vegetarian diet can cost less than a diet that includes meat and some people just don't like the taste of meat. Smiley Therefore, it is up to the particular individual whether they to classify vegetarian as good or bad to them. Cool
