I personally think that food poisoning in school should be the concern of the school authorities and the canteen owner. Sudden inspection by Health Ministry officers or even school headmaster should make the canteen authorities to always maintain the cleanliness in the canteen. The food preparation process should also be taken into account during inspection. As a future medical doctor and being a member in the parent and teachers association in future, I would take the responsibility inspecting the cleanliness and the method of cooking used. Not only that, I could help in educating the parents to prepare meals for their kids for recess time. Home food may decrease the occurrence of food poisoning.
